Looking for a decent graphics card--don't know much about it

Hi all,

Although I've been gaming on PC for quite a while, there's a lot I don't know and so I thought I'd ask some knowledgeable people before doing anything. I have a Lenovo W530 with an i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia K1000M graphics card. I've found that this card is only good for some of my basic games and I want to upgrade to something better. I'd like to be able to play games like SOMA, Salt, Rising World, and Rust on high settings. What sort of card would be best for this and how much do you think it might cost?

not usually possible with laptops


everything is usually soldered down, unless you buy high end ones designed with this is mind

I know that they have done a GTX 980 laptop version but thats to expencive. If you have a Desktop look for GTX 960 OR the laptop versions
