I work as a front end web developer, and I also like to game. I'm trying to find a slim gaming laptop that is better than my current on the go laptop which is this https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-r...etalic-hairline-black/6335912.p?skuId=6335912 Things that I don't like in a laptop are things like bulkiness/thickness, cooling that causes a lot of heat to accumulate under the keyboard, and lack of usb ports. I would prefer something with 32GB of ram or a laptop that only has one 16GB stick soldered on or installed so I can upgrade to 32GB, 512MB of SSD storage or higher, and a gpu that can play higher end games a mid-high settings. My budget is around $1800

Please don't recommend anything made by HP because I have had a bad experiences with just about everything made by them.

Some of the requirements you have seem to contradict the requirement of wanting a slim laptop. For example, you can't really avoid "cooling that causes a lot of heat to accumulate under the keyboard" without adding bulk, because the coolers in thin laptops aren't going to be performant enough to expel that heat. And "lack of usb ports" is just a nature of the beast. The smaller you go, the less room you have for ports.

In any case, I'll just leave you with this list as a starting point: https://www.notebookcheck.net/The-Best-Thin-Light-Gaming-Notebooks.126456.0.html
