This laptop is for a 10 year old (christmas gift)
He would like to run League of Legends and possible WOW (im ok with low settings)
I am not sure if it is possible, but my price range is $500 or less
I would be OK with refurb
Please include a link if you find one

If a laptop cant happen, then how about a desktop with a monitor for the $500 or less budget.

Thanks

Laptop - hardly. Desktop would be very doable.

There are some laptops that cost below $500, but they usually don't include neither a graphics card (that is needed for games) nor an operating system. For $500, you can get a desktop with decent low end GAMING graphics card, which means your 10 old will be able to play games and not just surf the internet which is teasing him with gameplay videos, a nice monitor with full HD resolution and 64 bit Windows.
