Looking for a gaming monitor

I m planning to buy a 24" LED monitor for gaming.
Is ViewSonic VX2457-MHD 24" a good monitor for 1080p gaming with my gtx 970 ?
Keep in view that i'll b using this monitor for the upcoming Nvidia Volta GPU.
