Looking for a Gaming Mouse

I am having difficulty trying to decide on a gaming mouse so I figured the TH community would be able to help. My DeathAdder just died on me but I really liked the feel of that mouse as well as the simplicity (only the two buttons on the side). I play games very frequently but not very competitive, although I do play the newest games. Can anyone recommend a mouse that isn't too crazy in terms of button layout and have a comfortable feel to them? I don't really have a budget but I'm not looking to drop more than about 60 for a mouse, unless I find one I really like. Any help would be appreciated!!

The problem with mice is that they are very specific to each person in terms of feel and such. I have used a lot. One of my first non standard mice with the Logitech MX1000, the first laser mouse. From there I have had the 500, G600 and now the G502. Right now the G502 for me is a great mouse although I did eye the Corsair M65 as well when picking it.

Suggestion wise I would highly recommend the G502. It has a great sensor, great features and feels good to me. I would wait though as a new version, the G502 Proteous Core Spectrum, is coming out which might make the current model cheaper. The only difference is that the Spectrum version has RGB lighting. other than that they are the same.

That's what I've seen a lot when searching. How is the scroll wheel on the G502? It looks kind of cheap to me but it's so hard to tell in pictures. I can pick it up today for about $35, that seems reasonable for the praise it gets. I think that's what I may go with. Thank you!

$35 is a killer deal for it since it retails for $79.99.

As for the scroll wheel, it is a solid scroll wheel. Feels good and has two modes, normal (clicky) and hype (smooth). I replaced my G600 with it and do not regret it as it just feels better for most games I play.
