Looking for a gaming pc.

I am looking to replace my 5 year old desktop and am leaning towards building my own gaming computer that mainly will be used to play Skyrim modded with ENBS installed. The thing is I don't know what components to purchase. I went to the Wal-mart website and put together an iBuyPower system to replicate sort of what I want in the system. Can someone list individual components that are similiar to this build for around $1,000? Thanks! Much appreciated.

PS. I didnt add another cpu cooler for now. I tried to build what you described, you may need these components for your own reasons. If this was my system, i would get a cheaper case,remove the bd reader with a regular one and a cheaper quality-psu to get a 120gb ssd.

I'm going to be using my old monitor that has a resolution of 1600 x 900 for now.

I'm not really familiar with SSDs. Why should I get it?
