Hello,

I am interested in building a PC that can do 4k video editing as I have a go pro that will record 4k video. It would ideally be as ghetto as possible initially with the option to upgrade to a maximum settings setup over time as the budget allows.

So probably a static case/motherboard/ upgrading the cpu/video card/ram/hdd's over time.

Minimal cost parts and suggestions to an upgrade path(sky's the limit) would be fantastic.

$1k-1.5k initial build(or lower if such a thing exists).

No need for keyboard/mouse/monitor/os

Thanks in advance!

for that price you can get a beast of a system if by 1.5k you mean $ as you didn't say but this is what I would go for.
