Looking for a Good Budget processor for gaming

Guys..im planning to get a good budget processor for gaming
Which do you think is better?
Intel core i3-3220 or Intel pentium G4560.
I want a processor that could run games like witchers 3 or Gta V at low settings
My Graphics card is a AMD Radeon r9 270 Sapphire dual-x OC edition 2gb and Ram is 8GB

Those two CPUs are on different platforms with different mobo/RAM.

That said the G4560 is better; furthermore, the Pentium Gold G5400 is even better. Each requires a different motherboard chipset.

*Just realized you have 8GB RAM already; assuming that is DDR3 you will have to go with the older i3-3220.

Do you have a motherboard? What motherboard do you have?

**You should be able to get an i5-3470 or 3570 for a good price used.

Yeah, you're gonna have to stick with 2nd and 3rd-gen Intel CPUs. Be sure to update your bios if you want to install a 3rd-gen CPU.
