Looking for a good gaming monitor for under $200

Hey, I have been looking around for a good gaming monitor and was wanting to know if you guys had any suggestions. Ideally, I'm looking for something around 23" and 1080p.

I have seen the Asus VS238H-P suggested a few times, though I haven't found any locally to get a look at in person.

I bought one a while back when Newegg had a $20.00 sale on it. It's a great monitor.

It is a TN panel and I would suggest you look for an IPS panel for a gorgeous image.

What are the main differences between the TN and IPS monitors? The Asus VS238H-P looks like a similar version which is IPS panel, and only $20 more than the TN monitor, though I'm not sure exactly what I'd be getting haha.

TN (Twisted Nematic) are faster (in response time) and cheaper than IPS (In-Plane Switching). IPS has far better color and viewing angles.

This is why gamers get TN and those in photo manipulation / video editing business get IPS.
