How about simply providing a budget? With that we can help you decide which laptop(s) offers the best performance for the amount of money you are willing to spend. Example of game you would like to play would also be helpful as well.

Below an example of a relatively inexpensive laptop that will offer good performance for the price. It is an Acer laptop with a quad core i5-8250u, 256GB SSD, and nvidia mx150 dedicated GPU that is currently on sale for $500 (normal price is $630). The lowest price I have seen for a laptop with this configuration is $600, and at best $500 would only get you a laptop with the i5-8250u and no dedicated GPU. According to the details it has 12GB of RAM, but I suspect it is actually a typo and only has 8GB of...

Still a good price though especially considering the huge performance difference between the Intel UHD 620 and the mx150. The mx150 is only considered to be a "mainstream" GPU though.
