I'm looking to possibly replace my skullcandy hesh 3 because the plastic surronding the ear pads is breaking apart and i'd like a sturdier wireless over ear headphone which is around 300$ max mainly to watch videos.

Solution
It might be overkill for watching videos (and a little over budget at 350 USD), but I love my Sony WH1000XM2. Besides exceptional fidelity for music, they are also noise cancelling and you can connect them via Bluetooth rather than cable if you wish. In my opinion, they out do Bose QC35s in both sound reproduction and noise cancellation. I don't know about sturdiness though... mine are plenty sturdy for my purposes, but I'm not rough with them.

Whatever you choose, good luck!

Hard to beat the price to performance ratio on these: https://www.amazon.com/Hiearcool-Bluetooth-Headphones-Cancelling-Microphone/dp/B07BPZVGHF/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1527039563&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=hiearcool+l1+active+noise+canceling+bluetooth+headphones&psc=1

I find them very comfortable, they work when wired and charging, and best of all the actually print "RIGHT" on the inside of the right headphone!

Now I am old enough that my high freq hearing is about gone, but these sound awfully good, especially for $69!

I heard that too when Sony first released them... but they changed the design very soon after.

Ok after reading a couple of review for the sony WH1000XM2 i've decided that they seem perfect however can you also reccommend some headphones under 200$ so i can see the diffrences between them?

Sennheiser have a good range of headphones around the $200 mark and generally good value for money. A lot of people like Audio Technica too though I've not listened to many pairs of them myself. I'm from Australia and we have a few types of stores where you can sound test about 30-40 different heaphones. If you have a store like that near you, I'd highly recommend that. You can read specifications and recommendations all day for a year, but trying a pair first hand you can normally tell straight away whether you like the sound and comfort. If you aren't near a store of that kind, some research on Amazon might be helpful. I like to compare the % of people who rate the heaphones 5 stars.

Are you familiar with open back/closed back design? If you don't mind hearing sounds around you, audiophiles reckon open back give superior sound. If that interests you, check out Sennheiser HD 598 SE (79% 5 star rating and 158 USD last time I looked on Amazon). If you prefer closed back (want to isolate yourself from outside sound), consider Sennheiser HD 558 (only 74% 5 star rating and only 92 USD last time I looked).
