My situation is i want an ssd and hdd. The ssd contains os and hdd has other stuff.
Whats the best way to optimize performance and have both drives appear as one like C:
I still need to decide which programs drives get installed to
You don't want everything to be one "C" drive.
Far too much confusion, and that WILL break some things.
How large is the SSD?
What do you use this system for?
Ideally, you want the OS and all your applications on the SSD.
After that, put things where there is space.
It's easy to cause other things to default save to the HDD.

Steam games, you can use either or both drives.
