Hi guys,
I have just recently sold my old monitor, and am looking for a new one. I have a budget of €200EURO, (which is about £140STERLING for those of you in Britain). I have looked at the two following, and would like to know which one ye guys think is better, or to suggest a different one altogether.

Monitor 1: http://www.currys.ie/Product/hp-pavilion-23cw-full-hd-23-ips-led-monitor/332235/401.3.2#details

Monitor 2: http://www.amazon.co.uk/VX239H-W-Widescreen-Multimedia-Monitor-1920x1080/dp/B00GGQFOVW/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1446919237&sr=1-3&keywords=pc+monitor

I'm personally leaning towards the Asus one as it looks nicer.
I really dont need 1ms response times, but keep the input lag down. Full HD is a must (1080P) and LED, no LCD.

Thanks guys,
Damo.

The asus is a good monitor, if you like the look i'd say go for it.

By the way, a LED monitor is also a LCD. LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display, which is the technology behind almost all flat screen PC monitor and alot of TV (plasma is another technology used in larger TV). LED (Light emitting diode) is about the backlight of your monitor. In the past, most LCD monitor had a CCFL backlight (cold cathode fluorescent lamp). So there were CCFL LDC before, now most monitors are LED LCD.
