Looking for a gpu with 5800k

Hi,

I have a 5800k with a 6670 and tbh its terrible.. With the latest amd drivers my performance drops by alot and i can barely play any games.. Currently am playing with out the 6670 because am getting better fps with just the on board..

So am wondering if a gpu will improve my performance by abit? Is the 5800k a bad cpu? Atm i cant afford a whole new rig or i definatly would do.. I was looking at a 750 ti or 660 , i only play arma 2 and 3 so think it will improve much?

Also buying a cpu cooler and overclocking to over 4.0 ghz..

Current specs:
5800k
Asus 6670
8gb 1600mhz ram
500w psu

a 750ti would be best for the apu but using something like a 270x or a 760 would likely bottle neck. a apu isnt good with dedicated graphics card. when you do get be sure to do a clean install of graphic drivers removing the ones for the igpu or there may be issues

Will it increase my performane by alot? Atm all my settings are on low and get 20 fps at max

yea here are some benches for the 750 ti. just to be safe make sure your psu is rated to handle 18a on 12v rail...im almost positive it does but just dont want to set you up for failure

no the fps wont be this good due to the apu but should be able to play most games on high with some tweaking
