[SOLVED] Looking for a GPU

Hi!

I am considering upgrading my GPU as some of the newer games (e.g. FarCry 6) require DX12 Feature Level 12_0 which my current card does not support. I am a casual gamer and do not need to the run the games at max settings but would like to get at least a few more years out of my current rig while playing the latest games.

It's been difficult to find a GPU in stock at a reasonable price point for a long while now as you all know (been trying to hold out but the last FarCry update finally broke it!). I would like to get the best GPU I can in the range of $200 to $500 which used to get you near the mid-high end (I paid $190 for my R9 280 when I got it in 2015).

Appreciate any thoughts you have and any links to compatible GPUs in-stock in my price range!

I would like to get the best GPU I can in the range of $200 to $500
the lowest of the newest series i would go for is the RTX 3060, or the 3060 Ti FE that's ~$400 MSRP if you can find one.
or the RX 6600 XT, starting ~$580 MSRP.

considering that the rest of your build is rather ancient you may want to go the used route and look for a GTX 1070 or RX 5600 equivalent.
