Overco is correct, but not entirely. Yes they are not powerful enough to use the entire vram, but that doesn't mean that it is worthless. There are several tests which have shown that a GTX 960 with 4GB does have better performance and frame rate than the 2GB version. Same goes with the R9 380. I know the R9 390 has 8GB of VRAM and that it isn't exactly necessary having that much, but having that little bit extra can help on many occasions. I understand that it is a poor choice to get a 4GB GTX 960, but can also be a good one for those on a budget that doesn't allow a GTX 970, such as mine.
