The 960 is worth the money over the 950. I would still consider the 280X over them both, though.

I would have suggested that GPU but it is incredibly hard to get in America, new.

The 960 is worth the money over the 950. I would still consider the 280X over them both, though.

For short therm use you can use GTX 780 on it but you need new PSU sooner or later anyway

Don't bother with the GTX 950 as it has poor performance, and you might as well spend a little bit more and actually get something more worth your money. I would recommend a GTX 960 or an R9 380. You could even get a 4gb version of either if your budget allows it.

No. The 4GB version of the the 960 is a poor choice because it is not near powerful enough to really use all 4GB just like the 390's and their 8GB. They are powerful, but not that powerful.

Overco is correct, but not entirely. Yes they are not powerful enough to use the entire vram, but that doesn't mean that it is worthless. There are several tests which have shown that a GTX 960 with 4GB does have better performance and frame rate than the 2GB version. Same goes with the R9 380. I know the R9 390 has 8GB of VRAM and that it isn't exactly necessary having that much, but having that little bit extra can help on many occasions. I understand that it is a poor choice to get a 4GB GTX 960, but can also be a good one for those on a budget that doesn't allow a GTX 970, such as mine.
