Hello everyone,
I need some help to decide a monitor to buy. I’ll use it to play mostly (last games: Witcher3, HOTS, BF1, Tomb Raider). I have a GTX 980 that I hope lasts 2 more years. I also hope this monitor lasts a long time.
My ideal monitor would be: 25”, 2K resolution, 1 ms response, ISP, 120Hz, G-Sync and AMD Free-Sync, a 90º rotation and very very cheap. This monitor is just to understand my preferences in order, if it exists it is surely very expensive.
Restrictions: [23,8”-28], no 1080, no ASUS*.
I find G-sync prices f**king insane. G-Sync means 200-300 € more… WTF that looks like a scam to me, also Monitors with Free have Adaptive, but with Gsync is not so common, finally I’m not certain the brand of my next GPU.
¿Can a GTX980 use Adaptive Sync in one AS monitor? If so, ¿there is much difference between AS and GSync? It seems like a good option to buy a FreeSync monitor (200 cheaper), use it with adaptive sync, and in 2 years buy an AMD card.
These are some of the monitors I’ve considered, but any new suggestion is welcome:
Note: Prices are in euros but prices in dollars are correlated. si=yes xD.

*I bought an Asus ROG of ~700€, it came with problems and I had a lot of trouble to get a refund, so I promised myself “NEVER trust ASUS products again”, also to not spent that much.
