Hi, I'm looking for a comprehensive history of type 2: the dates for which
each set was legal (including different versions of the core set), and the
dates on which bannings/unbannings came into force. I've been hunting
around on the net, but so far no joy. Can anyone help?

Thx,

- shteev

They're used to be some pretty good info on www.thedojo.com on the
history of magic. You may want to try rooting around on the following
site:

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.thedojo.com

Of course, the site went down some time ago, so only the links older
than 2002 will actually be of use to you.

If you want to go back even further, you can also take a look at
www.classicdojo.org. This is a complete (well, as complete as possible I
guess) archive of the dojo from 1996 to 1998, so that really is a long time
ago :)
