Looking for a low budget ~650-700W power supply for underneath £50

Hello,

I have recently realised that my power supply isn't working correctly (Kernel-Power 41 error), so I'm looking for a new PSU fast. Unfortunately I'm on a tight budget, but I need a PSU relatively quickly since I have important work saved on my PC that needs to be completed.

One PSU I'm considering: click.
^ This is the Cooler Master GX700W Lite PSU - 700W and a good brand, seems OK to me.

That power supply is garbage, or rubbish depending on where you live.
Cooler Master is not a good brand and makes no power supplies.
Their V series are made by Seasonic for them and are good.
If 550 Watts would do look at the XFX.
Most people overestimate how much power their PC really needs.

The rule is not to go cheap on your power supply, It's not a smart decision.

It is what keeps your components alive. You want a good unit for that.

Hitachi 1TB SATA,
AMD A10-6800K APU = 4.1GHz,
Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-DS2 motherboard.

I have found another one that took my interest. Its cost is ~£60 but a site is selling it for £42.
It's the Antec VP 700P, it's 700W and it does the job, no flashy stuff but it does what its intended to.

Is this worth the money? Seems reasonable to me.

You have a 350 watt PC 550 would do fine.
