[SOLVED] Looking for a low spec single port VGA Gen2 x4 graphics card?

I need a really low spec PCIe Gen 2 x4 single port VGA card for my z800 workstation. It currently has an NVIDIA Quadro 2000 hogging a PCIe2 x16 slot that I want to re-purpose with a Fusion-IO flash storage card. I run VMware vSphere ESXi so the video output requirements are as low as they come.

Card can be "half-length, full-height" or "full-length, full-height" as I have both slots available.

Any help appreciated.

finding an actual x4 card is tricky, is the x4 slot open ended? in which case your current card will work. Alternatively have you considered a USB VGA solution?

Looks like you can use anything.
Do not worry about pcie 2/3 they are both forward and backwards compatible.
Since the x4 slots are open ended, you can use a X16 card that will operate at X4.

not with that max power... but the SSD's would be fine they won't use all lanes anyway
