Haven't really kept up on pc cases lately but I am about to build a new pc. I've got most of the components figured out except the case. I want a quiet mid tower case to fit an atx motherboard and a full size front slot for a dvd writer. Budget is 50-75. Black color is preferred. Don't need any pretty lights or clear panels. Suggestions please.

a lot of the nicer cases have become quite hard to find, like a lot of other components lately.

but i have a "wish list" from last year when i was searching for a replacement that i have sort of kept up
containing mostly mid-large ATX cases, most with better cooling options and lacking the more cheesy "gamer" designs: NewEgg: Cases

i ended up going with the Fractal Design Vector RS.
my next build will probably be using the be quiet! Silent Base 802.

if just looking for a generic closed-panel case with decent airflow and a 5.25" drive bay;
in any online retailer's search pane enter: 5.25" drive bay
and enter $35-75 for the price range.
you should be able to pretty easily determine if they offer sufficient front...

you should be able to pretty easily determine if they offer sufficient front intake and rear\top exhaust vents.
