I'm looking for a new monitor. Here are my specs: (copy and pasted from speccy, sorry if there's unnecessary stuff with it)

Operating System
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
CPU
AMD Phenom II X4 965 44 °C
Deneb 45nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 671MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. GA-970A-UD3 (Socket M2) 37 °C
Graphics
SONY TV (1920x1080@60Hz)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series (ATI AIB) 41 °C

so far i have looked at:

http://www.amazon.com/Dell-UltraSharp-24-Inch-LED-lit-Monitor/dp/B005JN9310

I'm stuck between buying a 60hz IPS or a 120/144hz TN monitor, mainly because of seeing reviews complaining about color quality. I'm also not sure that my graphics card can do +60fps. Any models you guys recommend?

Thank you for your time.

EDIT: preferably 24" or around that.

Hello... My 2 cents....

I'm no mega pro computer guy but I know that ever since I have seen it in action I've been wanting a 21:9 aspect Monitor

they are almost the same as a movie theater and its kinda like cheating when you play an fps on one you have major Peripheral vision
(just look up 21:9 gaming one you tube)

Check out the review of this one.. I plan to get it in mid January early February hopefully I can get one for $600-650? (34")

These 2 are smaller ones is within your budget (25") and the other a bit past it (29"

Now as far as response times and refresh rates you'll have to do due diligence.

I cant wait to get mine... but I have too

Hope this helps
