Hey guys, i’ve recently bought a new PC and basically have been looking for decent cheap (ish) monitors that I can use with the new graphics card so there isn’t any tearing or ghosting etc and haven’t had any luck, any suggestions?

My graphics card is a GTX 1060 6 GB, the cpu is an intel i5 8400k, and i’m ideally looking for a 24” display. I’m not exactly what people would call a deadly serious gamer so I don’t want to overspend on a better monitor than I need, or overwork my PC. However I do a fair amount of photoshop and digital art so I would want decent graphics but it is more for gaming. My budget maximum would be about £280, which i know, is a big ask for a good monitor but as long as it can deliver an okay performance at an 120-144 Hz then it would be perfect!

My friend also recommended me this monitor a few months back, the Asus VG248QE which looked perfect for what I wanted and within my price range, but looking at it now, it seems to be discontinued on their website? I’m now wondering if they’ve replaced it with a better newer version?

Any advice or actual monitor suggestions would be so appreciated! Thank you.
