I made a thread a few days ago about my Asus vs278q-p having washed out color. I found out that it is due to a limitation of TN panel technology so I am going to return this monitor and look for a different one.

This might be somewhat difficult to find at my price range, but I would like to find a monitor that has the best of both worlds (I.E. good color and decent input lag/response time). I don't necessarily need the best of either category but one that does well in both.

I am currently looking at the ASUS PB278Q 27" and Dell UltraSharp U2715H. I would like to know if any one knows anything about these two displays. I am open to other suggestions and I have filled out the new monitor forum.

1. What Is Your Country Of Origin?
United States.

2. What do you plan to do with this monitor? (ex. Games, Movie Watching, Photo Editing, etc.)
Mostly playing video games, but also some graphic design and 3d modeling work(non-professional).

3. What resolution and screen size do you want?
1080p or higher and 27" and up (I like large format displays).

4. What refresh rate do you want? (ex. 60 hz , 70 hz.)
I am fine with 60htz but bigger is always better. Right?.

5. How much are you looking to spend?
$400-550 or lower

6. Brands Preferred (ex. Samsung, Acer, Asus, AOC, HP, Viewsonic, etc. )
Asus, Samsung, and Dell would be preferred but I could go with others if the monitor is nice.

7. Brands Not Preferred (state reason why)
None that I can think of.

8. Are You Buying More Than One Monitor?
Only one for now.

9. How Many Displays Can Your GPU Support Maximum? And what GPU and driver version are you using if applicable?
Three I believe (Nvida GTX 770 4gb version).

10. What Port Do You Want To Connect To (ex. DVI-D, HDMI, etc).
DVI, HDMI, or Display port would be fine.

11. Is This Monitor A Primary Display Or A Secondary Display?
Primary.

12. Is This A Secondary Display For A Laptop?
No.

Any help on this is appreciated.

Clearly the best choice is Asus ROG SWIFT 669$

The best Value for money is for sure ASUS PB278Q at 399$

But the best gaming monitor in this price (515$) is the BenQ XL2730Z for sure.

Also the Tempest X270OC is good one but is out of stock.
