Looking for a Motherboard to match a Core I5 6500

I would like to find a motherboard that works well with my Core I5 6500. I want it to be atx since I have the room in my Ultra Case. I would like to be able to add usb 3.1 to it but it does not need to come with it.

look at the asus a or ar mb or the asrock z170 mb. even though your using a locked cpu the z170 or the newer 200 chipset mb that dropping in a few weeks will let you upgrade to any newer cpu with a bios update latter on.

All of them are with chipset Z170. Eventhough you dont need the Z170 chipset since your processor is the I5 6500 (without K for OverclocK) I still like to use the Z170 due to all other features this excelent chipset offers (I personally have the Z170M-D3H with a I5 6600 but this is microATX and without USB 3.1, so it doesn´t suit you)

Gigabyte GA-H170-D3HP ATX , supports USB 3.1, ATX - $88 @Newegg. Also has a USB type-c port. Note that you will get one USB 3.1 port. Even $200 motherboards have one 3.1 port. If you want to spend $100 on motherboard, get this one - Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3P ATX, can run ram at 2400 or higher.
