this is what im talking about and why
It depends on the motherboard. If the motherboard only support dual channel the difference would be negligible, but if its a quad channel board then 4 sticks would be the fastest. Yep, the more sticks the better. 4 x 4 is better than 2x8. I don't really know why but I'm not that sure its true.

well dude your chip don't support quad memory but it does support 4 sticks at duel memory '' When you have 2 or 4 sticks running in dual channel, the memory controller sees all of the DRAM as a single 128bit device ''

quad sees it at 256bit and then you will need to spend on that system [that 400$ set up ] ''The quad-channel architecture quadruples the available memory bandwidth. This is done by expanding the memory data bus to 256 bits, which is accomplished by accessing four memory modules at the same time.
Currently, this mode is available only on the Intel socket LGA2011 (LGA2011) platform [most times not cheap] maybe 2ed or 3ed hand from e-bay ??

we helped you but it seems you don't understand the help . [opinion]
