Hello, I currently have some crappy mouse that has no way to increase its polling rate. I need a mouse that is able to reach 1000HZ. Preferably under 50$, something with downloadable software that can help me update this setting.

Also, I was wondering if my PC is even able to support this polling rate.
Specs:

Intel core i7 950 @3.07Ghz
6Gb 3 channel DDR3 @534 MHz
Asustek P6T motherboard
Geforce 660

Please let me know, thanks. I’m sort of autistic when it comes to computer knowledge so any help is appreciated. Looking to play souley csgo.

That's only 125hz which is low but it is a really old mouse (more than a decade) and has not even been made for a long time. I never liked the tiny mouse wheel. If you ever use the mmb it's also a bit pointy and even after just a few presses, I had to get rid of it. You're much better off getting a modern mouse. Software isn't need. My mouse has a switch on the bottom to change it easier than software. The g402 is pretty cheap and good.

Weird. Both newegg specs or logitec specs doesn't say its only 125mhz.

Either way. I like it. I don't use the scroll wheel that often so its nice to have a small one and it being out of the way.

But I can 2nd that on the g402. I have it for a gaming laptop. It's pretty decent also.
