Hello my name is Akis and i am looking to upgrade my Gpu.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE:In Xmas

BUDGET RANGE: 160-250 euro dunno if there will be any major rebates.

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANTLets see, gaming, mmos(like elder scroll online, gw2 and pretty much trying many mmos), fps(battlefield, cod, crysis), and other low end games,
also watching movies so i would like to have hdmi to connect to my tv.

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY:This is going to be funny Sparkle 8800gt cool pipe and Chieftech gps550AB A(550w)( i am willing to change it in a little while after i get the new gpu).

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS:Intel core i5-2500 oced @4ghz,Asus p8p67 deluxe, Memory 2-way corsair-PC3-10700H(4GB) and going to buy another pair of those to go to 8GB

PARTS PREFERENCES: I really really want to stick to nvidia and asus(even though i would consider changing from asus to another company)

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: / Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1280x1024(a philips 190v)

Hi, well from nvidia side your best choice would be the gtx 760 its way better than the gtx 650ti, or if you could push your budget a little maybe the gtx 770, and if you are willing to change to amd the r9 280x would be a great option.... that if there is any stock of it soon since looks like it's sold out everywhere and in the only places that its in stock the prices are sky high. hope it helps.
 


Well i see the price here of r9 280x is like 310 euro(which i think is kind of high specially considering i could get the gtx 770 for the same money and they look pretty close. Also i would like to note that i am not talking about the 650ti talking about the 650ti boost in case there was a missundrestanding. Finally about the r9, what are all these rumors about amd launching a better one silently? Thank you for your answer.
