Looking to get a new cpu cooler for my computer specs are as follows

Processor: Intel Core i5-6400
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
Memory: 8.00 GB
Storage: 1 TB
Dimensions: 16.50 × 40.50 × 40.10 cm
Weight: 9.85 kg

What cpu cooler could i fit in the case

That looks like a pretty small case. I wish we knew the max cooler height. Might have to go with a low profile cooler.

That's what i was thinking but i don't know the max hight hp doesn't show that.... but i know my gtx 970 just fits in the case

No i do a lot of heavy gaming and video editing so i just want to keep my cpu a bit cooler cause it only has a normal cooler master cpu fan and heatsink

As it has no overclocking ability, there is no need for a CPU cooler. Of course no cooler can do its job if the air isn't getting out of the case and changing the CPU cooler will not change anything there. What is the case ventilation situation ? How many, what size, which way and what rpm ?

Yea I think you need better case airflow. As JackNaylorPE asked, how many fans (intake/exhaust) do you have?
