Looking for a new cpu and video card for my motherboard

I have the GA-990FXA-UD7 motherboard. I'd like a strong cpu that can handle gaming. I'm also looking for a video card for this machine. I have about $400 I'd like to spend total. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm not that knowledgeable about hardware.

Open the case and look at the side of the power supply it it will show the make and model. Ibuypower uses many different brands of PSU's, some good good others not so much.
