Hi guys. What I need the cpu cooler to do/to be/to not be?
1)I need it to be quiet in the idle and possibly while gaming. There is no need it to be completely silent, but the quieter it is, the better.
2)I do not want it to interfere with my RAM modules. (Specs below.)
3)I do not want any LED lights on it.

(4))The fans should not be different colour than black or gray, (to fit my build), but it is not required.

Budget: +-60$

Specs:
Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V LK
RAM Modules: Kingston CL9 HyperX DDR3 1600 MHz
CPU: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 4.2 GHz (Socket 1155)
Case: Fractal Design Define R4

CPU cooler brands you can choose from:
Arctic Cooling
Be quiet!
Coolermaster
Gelid Solutions
Scythe
Silverstone
Thermaltake
Xigmatek
Zalman

If you post different cooler brand, I will have to check it, if it is available to buy in Czech Republic. Thanks.

I have the 212 EVO in the rig in my sig below. I also have one on a Phenom II X4 @ 4.0 GHz. Neither processor comes close to their max safe temps under max load. No where close. In fact, the cooler's fan never even reaches max RPM.

Cooler Master Seidon 120M. Only problem is that it has one blue LED in it telling you its on. Thats fixable with nail polish as its under a plastic cover. Best cooler I've had.

The Cooler Master Seidon 120M looks good but if I cover the logo with nail polish and it brakes after a year, I do not think the shop would give me a new one/money back. The Cooler Master 212 EVO looks good also, but will it be capable of cooling the CPU, when it will be overclocked as I wrote in the first post? The price is really cool, it would save me some money for other uses, but I do not want to buy it and then set all the presets on the cpu to default (you know what I mean).

Thats what nail polish remover is for. It shouldnt harm the cooler.

I have made some research and 212 EVO seems like the best performance/price cpu cooler. Just one question, I have seen some pictures in some cases and some of them had a problem with closing the side panel, because the cooler is too high. Is anyone using this cooler in Define R4? Thanks.
