I am looking for a new processor for my computer. This is my current one. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/amd-cpu-fd8320frhkbox
I'm not very smart with computer hardware and so I don't know if I actually need an upgrade or not. I'm looking for a processor that would be strong enough to smoothly play things like Fallout 4 and some upcoming 2016 games. My current PC lags a bit when I play Fallout 4. Most of the time it's not a big deal but sometimes it can be bad. Should I also get a new graphics card?

That link may need to be fixed. It shows only an AMD FX8320.

The FX8xxx is the top of your food chain. There is no UP from here. To go more powerful, you will need to change to Intel. What is your complete system (GPU, motherboard, and PSU in particular)? Have you overclocked your processor?

Then look at a GPU upgrade. You have a good PSU and can put in nearly any single GPU you can afford. There are a lot of open-box or refurbish deals after Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
