Looking for a new graphic card (for mw2)

Hey guys,I'm going to buy a new graphic card and I think also a new cpu,to be able to play ModernWarfare2.
Do you know some good Gc's? and from howemany Ghz can I alleready run mw2 (don't want to spend too much for a new cpu)
And for a GC I'd prefer not more than 50€(if you can have a good one then to play mw2 don't realy need to play it on max graph,otherwise max 60€)

Because I saw a graphic card like ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT and that was not that expensive or isn't that good enough?

Operating system: Windows 7 (ultimate)
cpu: Intel 2140 1.60Ghz
Motherboard: Acer MRS600M
1.75 Gb Ram
Atm onboard graphicsystem Ati Xpress 1200(256Mb)

you should buy a 4650 it plays mw2 on highest settings and is not exspensive

This is just too funny to see people building PC's to run a certain game. Though I built mine before MW2 came out, my goal was to blow crysis out and I knew MW2 would be fine. I also went with the XFX Radeon 5850 expensive but will play anything right now. A friend of mine has the 4650 and its not playing it max.

Get a HD 4670 ddr3 and you'll play MW2 on high settings.

Other components of your PC are well matched for that card.

You can run MW2 with a 9400GT, the 9500GT/GT 240 will play it medium, 4770/9800GT will play high, 4850/5750/9800GTX/GTS 250 will do high.

OP can't play MW2 at anything other than low without significant upgrades, significant to the point where a new build would be more economical.

really??? i dont think so, cos E4500 has a problem running at 2.4 oc'd using stockcooler, thats only 0.2 ghz higher....

My cousins E2140 is OCed to 2.8Ghz on stock coolers and temps are better than my stock speed E7300

Go for 4650 or 4670
My brother has 4650
He plays all games including MW2 with maximum settings at 1280x1080
Don't go for anything else since you have a thin budget

Its well documented that the Intel 2140 can reach over 3 GHz on a stock cooler, on a mediocre aftermarket cooler you are looking at around 3.4 GHz. The E4500 can achieve about the same, if you were unlucky enough to achieve a decent overclock with the E4500 it was probably just a bad motherboard or you got a dodgy CPU.

whats the temp under load, cos i checked i may have a dodgy cpu dunno, but i did reach about 70 under liad when playing crysis, and that aint very safe IMO

The computer I want to buy has a Radeon HD 4650 graphics chipset and has 2.40GHz AMD Turion II Ultra Dual-Core Processor. Will these specs work on mw2 on full settings without lag? Please tell me. I want to know if I'm buying a computer that will support the game on full settings. Thanks.

buy a 4770 and be done with it...double lifetime warranty and worth every penny that it is faster than the 4670....this card will save you an upgrade in the future...a 4670 may play what u want now but in a year ull b wishing u had something a little better

4770 89.99 after mail in rebate...104.99 before...cheapest 4850 I saw on new egg was 99.99 and had 3 years parts warranty and 2 years labor and is only about 5% faster...maybe 10%...runs hotter...needs more power....the warranty is why id buy the 4770....the XFX 4850 is 129.99
