Looking for a new graphics card to buy. Need help!

So i got an 300 watt power supply. I run an A10-7800 4 core 4 threads cpu running at 3.5 ghz. Also having an r7 240 as my power supply, was thinking of buying an gtx 750ti, i don't know if i can get more "money for the frames" if you know what i mean. Can i buy a better graphics card which can run with the 300 wat power supply or would i have to change both? I am willing to spend 1-150$ for either a new graphics card or an power supply and a graphics card. As i'm not really good at this computer stuff i would like some suggestions from you guys/girls!

A 750 ti is around 100-150 and 300w psu is for like...every-day use. A good gaming PSU would be a 600w. PSUs can cost 50-100 in that range.
