Looking for a new HDD as my C; drive.

After all the research I am now totally confused. I need a HDD and I cannot make up my mind. I need a push and I know this is the best place. 2TB although I am now using ! TB and have lots of room I figure hell get 2. Why not. I am geyting messages on start up to replace my HDD. Help. I ordered a 2tb WD Black HDD a month ago only to find out the news today, that It won't ship til some time next year. Suggestions and where to go. Thanks

Pretty good deals at newegg today. Grab it before its too late.

If you got the cash, go for an SSD under $100 along with the above mentioned 2TB drive. The 5900RPM wont matter a lot. And you would have bought yourself a SSD + powerful storage for the price of the HDD only on normal days.

wait.. i have this problem.. since the tsunami and all.. sooo with that hard drive + and ssd + smart cache tech. it will perform just as good as a western digital black caviar with out a ssd or smart cache tech?

Got the 2tb Black. For some reason the company that told me they didn't have any sent me a cancellation order which listed 160 units in stock. When confronted they told me it was an error. Then next day'd me one. A call to the contact person advised me that they were holding on to them for their Corporate customers. Red faced they sent me one. Thanks for your input. Now my only problem is cloning and that is another issue I am working on.
