Looking for a new monitor

Hi, I'm looking for a new monitor.

I will be using it for playing games on my computer and PS3 and doing every day work like surfing the web.

Would you guys recommend a 24, 24, or 27 inch monitor?
I've been looking at these.

Unfortunately, the second one seems to be sold out everywhere.

I'd like to stick around the 300 dollar price range and I'm only really insterested in LED backlit unless there are good reasons.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
