Hello! Ok so let me start off and say i understand a pre built is not the same as building your own, however it doesnt matter to me really, my last pc i bought was a prebuilt for 400, i gutted it and rebuilt it lol. SOOO my question is, im going to sell my current pc which has a AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, a gtx 1660 ti, 500w psu( no idea the brand) 16 gb corsair ram, im looking to go to my local bestbuy and pick up something a little newer (part wise) and im having second thought about this particular system im wanting to get, so im coming here and asking personal opinions on this system, i understand im not going to see 1000 fps with what im looking at, i literally only play tarkov, and like beamng, maybe some battlefield, My QUESTIONS are, is this worse, ive looked one gpuuserbenchmark and the parts per the site are BETTER then my current, i know i would need to upgrade the RAM, so im not worried about that, just wanting to know really if ill see a difference, or is it pretty much just buying what i have now, just different named parts, if that makes sense, i will include the link on best buy for yall to see! https://www.bestbuy.com/site/cyberp...-6600-500gb-ssd-black/6489032.p?skuId=6489032 I will also upgrade the storage, but for now my CURRENT pc has a 1tb hdd and a 1 tb ssd. My boot is also on my HDD

I don't game, but I hear gamers say that single thread CPU performance is still quite important.

For all I know, your current graphics card is fine for your gaming needs.

The 5600G single thread score is 19% above the 3700X.

Obviously, if money is no object, you do it. 19% is something. Better than 2% or 4%.

It's another question ENTIRELY whether you would be happy you did it......considering the hassle and expense. Maybe you would rarely notice the difference.

For non-gaming purposes....I would not do it. A 19% difference in single thread performance would not make a significant difference in what I do. I get to define significant.

You have your own definition of significant and you may have no interest at all in non-gaming performance.

Maybe you would be a lot more impressed if you replaced your video card only for less money. I have no idea.
