Hi everyone! So my PSU is starting to make weird noises, and I think of getting an RTX 3080 sometime soon, so I think it's time for an upgrade.
I'm looking for a relatively cheap PSU since I don't have a really big budget, especially with an RTX 3080 haha.
The thing is, I don't have every PSU model in my country. I do, however, have options from these brands: Corsair, be quiet!, CoolerMaster, Antec, Gigabyte, SeaSonic primarily.

I thought about getting the CoolerMaster MWE 750W V2 80+ Bronze since it fits in my budget really well, it's in Tier B in the PSU list, it's not 80+ white, its 12v rail is 62A, and it comes with 5-years warranty. It costs around $93 where I live.

Is there a better option? Do I need less/more than 750w for a 3080? I don't know much about PSUs.
Thank you so much.

Well I'd readjust your budget then, because there's no way on earth I'd trust a 3080 to anything less than a Corsair or Seasonic mid or high tier unit. I certainly wouldn't run such an expensive card on a Coolermaster unit, no matter how good people say the MWE V2 models are.

You say "relatively cheap", relative to what? Because going relatively cheap could turn out to be relatively expensive when you're considering a 3080, relatively cheap ultimately contains relatively cheap capacitors. If you can't afford quality to go with that 3080, might be better off looking at a 3070 and a decent power supply.

I have 3070 with a TX650M Gold currently, you cant go wrong with Corsair or Seasonic as long as they are gold.

I'd suggest looking at a Corsair TX750M or a Seasonic GM750, both similar matched with different prices.

Honestly 650W will be enough for a 3080 no doubt but depending on the price bump a 750W would be better safe than sorry.
