Hi everyone. I'm looking for a new PSU, to replace my loud EVGA SuperNova. I need at least 850w I think, considering I'm running two cards and may add a 3rd in the future. I also would like it to be EXTREMELY quiet, and fully modular. I need it to be no more than 160$ or so. Cheaper the better.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Case: NZXT Phantom 630 (Soon to be Corsair 900d)
GPU: SLI 660ti, maybe a 3rd soon
Mobo: MSI Z77A-G45
CPU: i7 3770k (Cooling it with an h100i)
PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750w
Fans: Several AF120 Quiet Editions
Other things:
Sentry 2 Fan Controller
NZXT Hue
Disk Drive

If you need any other specs let me know.

Thanks!

A 750w unit is plenty for your system. Get a COrsair, Antec, XFX, Seasonic 650w unit.

I recommend the Corsair HX or AX line for high quality. XFX also has some very good units.

You cannot add a third card on that motherboard so don't worry about it.

I have a Seasonic X750 Gold and it's well worth the extra money I paid for it.

Of course if the OP wants some truly fanless options there's always:

- Silverstone Nightjar: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13849/psu-496/SilverStone_NightJar_500W_ZerodBA_Fanless_Power_Supply_-_SLI_Ready_SST-ST50NF.html?gclid=CJO369K1nroCFaSDQgodgxcAOA
- Rosewill SilentNight: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182169

It is a very high quality unit. It will likely be quiet enough, NOTHING with a fan will ever be silent. This is important to remember.

I highly doubt this will do anything.

Okay, I'll watch some videos on it, but I'll go with that unless I can't get a deal on an AX or HX Corsair PSU.

Thanks for your help and time!
