Hi, i'm currently having problems with the system, i believe because of dead PSU, but in case it turns out to be HDD instead, i want to be ready to replace it as well.

This system can't take M2 because of Intel 10 gen CPU, so i have to go HDD or other SSD form factor other than M2. are there any trusted good ones in my price range? I want minimum of 1 TB space. Any SSD will be good, which is compatible with the system and faster than the current HDD

Minimum of 1TB space, but can't be M.2 factor. 10gen Intel CPU doesn't allow it
Assuming this is your motherboard, the M.2_2 slot can use a PCIe 3.0 drive, even with that CPU.

At $70/1TB, your choices are slim.

Moving up a little in price:
(M.2) Samsung 970 EVO Plus at $105

(SATA III) Crucial MX500 at $99

Your motherboard has two M.2 slots.
M.2_1 can not used (because of 10th gen cpu).
M.2_2 can be used.

Intel®11th Gen Processors
M.2_1 slot (Key M), type 2242/2260/2280
- Only Intel® 11th Gen processors support PCIe 4.0 x4 mode, this slot will be disabled for other CPUs
Intel® B560 Chipset
M.2_2 slot (Key M), type 2242/2260/2280 (supports PCIe 3.0 x4 & SATA modes)*
* M.2_2 slot shares bandwidth with SATA_2.When M.2_2 slot is operating in SATA mode, SATA_2 will be disabled.

1TB at 70 bucks your looking for a hdd.

If you can scrape together another 30 you can move into the ssd area.

Well, a little embarrassing for me, but i'm happy i was wrong, because now i will target M.2 NVME SSD-s. I had this one in mind for a long time Silicon Power A60, it's not as fast as WD SN550 OR Samsung 970 EVO Plus series, but has good reviews and is cheaper. What do you guys think?
