Hey guys,

I'm from Belgium and looking for a pc. Here the prices are very different from the US. So for 1000 euros (my max budget) I found those pc's and I want to know which is the best in terms of display, thermal heating, build quality...
I'm not a fan of "gamer" looking pc's and I will primarily be using it for engeneering softwares and gaming.

1. lenovo y530
i5-8300H
SSD 128 Gb + 1 To HDD
NVIDEA GTX 1050 2 GB
16 Gb ram

2. dell g3
i7-8750H
SSD 128 Gb + 1 To HDD
NVIDEA GTX 1050 TI 4 Go
8 Gb ram

3. hp gaming pc
i5-8300H
SSD 128 Gb + 1 To HDD
NVIDEA GTX 1050T I 4 GB
8 Gb ram

4. Acer aspire 7 gaming edition
i7-8750H
SSD 128 Gb + 1 To HDD
NVIDEA GTX 1050 2GB
8 Gb ram

Or if you have any other suggestions that I can find in Belgium for the same price I will gladly listen!
Thanks a lot :)))

Hey there buddy, glad you are asking here. I'm from the Netherlands so i can help you with this

So you are searching for an new PC with an maximun price tag of €1000.
Does the pc has to be a pre-build or can it also be custom-Build?
What kind of Software are you going to use for Engineering purposes?

Focus first on Engineering work and gaming later.

if you want, you can talk dutch to me ;)

just let me know if there is any other questions and i will look around for any fitting pc for you needs :D

Hey thanks for your reply, I will continue in english so people who are interested can read it too ;)

It doesn't have to be prebuild but I don't really know anything about custom build pc's. For the programs, we used Autodesk Inventor 2018 and things like python, java,...
I currently have a 17 inch pc but I find it too big to bring it to uni so I'm looking for a 15-16 inch laptop.

En wees gerust over mijn studies alles gaat goed ;)

Thanks!

Hey bud. great for the extra explanation. so i can help u out better :)

the filter what i am looking for is if you are also doing some 3D work. looks like you need a cpu with more cores instead of an faster clock speed cpu.
This mean you benefit when you are working with multiple cores, works can get done faster over multiple cores then less cores but faster clock speed.

So you need an cpu with more cores.

an I5 is also not a bad idea, but the less cores lacks you behind for big workloads. unless you are only doing light work and only coding, then i doesn't make a difference.

en mooi om te horen dat de studie goed gaat :D
