We have a customer who needs a new router. They are currently using the Netgear N600. It won't work for what they want to do. I need to be able to filter ip addresses on a port. Price range can be up to $200.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Solution
Key is going to be how much data throughput is required. That is a fairly cpu intensive process so if it is a large internet connection you are better off using a small dual nic pc running on of the many free firewall packages.

Check if the router you currently have can run third party firmware like dd-wrt or tomato.
