These are the specs of my stock fan from Scythe.

Volumen: 63.5 - 165.1 m³/h
Pressure: 37.37 - 97.18 cfm
up to 1300 rpm

My heatsink is this one:

Usually not a problem to find alternatives, but the 120mm mounting is bugging me. I am not sure if it would hurt the cooling design if my fan isn't 140mm like the original.

So.. i need to find a well performing, silent 140 fan with 120 holes.

Any suggestions?

Fans arrived!

I went with different fans as suggested and the culprit was something else, but in the end it turned out good. The problem was the Arctic F14 PWM exhaust! So after i installed my new CPU fans i just replaced the exhaust aswell and installed the (now spare) original Scythe GlideStream and run it on 700rpm.

Fans removed:
1x Arctice F14 PWM

Fans installed:
2x Phanteks PH-F140HP (http://phanteks.com/PH-F140HP.html)

I did not know that those fans sold separately, so i've given up on the Noctua after reading the Phanteks are just as good. Now the system is silent as a cat even while running a push/pull (was push only before)!

TL;DR - Phanteks F140 are good, Scythe stock-fan wasn't the real problem, avoid Arctic F14
