Question Looking for a silent mouse

Hello, I'm seeking for quietness. I built a quiet PC with a lubed mx silent keyboard. And my old Razer Naga mouse is starting to fail (when scrolling up the screen goes up and down, the wheel press button doesn't work, etc).

So I decided to go for a quiet mouse this time. My mouse's wheel has an extra effect when you press either side (I don't know if this is commonplace amount mice or it's exceptional) that I use to regulate pc volume. I don't know if this feature helped mess up my current mouse wheel or if Razer mice (as I read) tend to malfunction in that area (might be dirt or whatever but I don't know how to disarm it).

So to the point, what should it have:

Quiet.

With a wire.

A way to change volume.

That isn't so small that requires a claw-hand.

Maybe other buttons for hotkeys and stuff.

(and that annoying thing that we can't miss) that isn't extremely expensive for no reason.

Thank you.

I don't think traditional mice will let you control the volume but those that come with extra buttons usually have programmable buttons.

If you want to be able to have mouse control over two computers at the same time, take a look at the Logitech M590 Silent. It comes with 3 or 4 programmable buttons.

It connects to the 1st computer completely wirelessly and the 2nd with a unifying adapter.

Thanks for the response. I prefer wired model though.

Then better getter a premium gaming mouse.

Logitech G402 or something better than that.

They have great precision and much better durability.

If you like simple design, get the Asus ROG Strix impact gaming mouse.

It is medium sized and has top of the line 50 M clicks durability.

Is the g502 a direct improvement ? Do you know how it would compare to the Roccat Nyth, Utech Venus or other mice ? Maybe ergonomic even.

If thinking to buy one, get the hero model. It's newer, more powerful and can survive 50 million clicks.

It's better than G402 but also heavier, even without the extra weight, so some people may not like it.

For normal use both are amazing. What makes the G502 stand out is the infinity scroll wheel.

Roccat Nyth looks like a MMO mouse. Very big in size but I don't know how good or bad it works.

Probably not very good for long term.

Both have ergonomic design but none is ambidextrous.

Ty, and how about vertical mice ? Any experience or knowledge about those ?

Vertical mice are the best for comfort but they may need some time to get used to.

Check out the Logitech MX Ergo

According to amazon it's the overall best mouse.

but since you are looking for wired, Evoluent VM 4 could be your best bet.

I'm sure there are many cheap alternatives but i can't tell how well or if they work.

Silent is out of the question since as these are not specifically built for silent operation. Those that are usually have silent in their name and are mostly wireless.

like Logitech M221, 331 and 590.
