I am looking for a case the size of a mini or micro, but still able to be a home for a full size mobo.
my needs are 1 internal 5.25" bay (intended for 2x slot load dvd drives), and two 3.5" sata hdd's. additional internal bays are no big deal, but not more than 1 5.25 bay...
budget is not a major concern although the costs of a custom built case is out of the question.
I haven't found anything online that suits, anything for a full atx invariably has drive bays that would remain unused, and anything micro or mini doesn't support the graphics card or 32-64gb ram...

the intended use of the computer is primarily media and will be connected to a home theater system and in a cabinet (hence the size requirement) so i will consider either vertical or horizontal. Horizontal preferred, but not a deal breaker.
