Hello All,

I hope you can help me with that.
I'm looking for a small single slot GPU that can take 2 monitors at 1920x1080. (If it's Half-Height better)

USAGE: Common desktop tasks + ocassional youtube videos and movies.
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Amazon
BUDGET: Less than U$D 130
OS: I'm running Fedora 22
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I already have a gaming GPU running in a VM, but I need to replace the one I'm using for the host.

Thanks!!

What monitor connection and what mobo connection?

That GT 730 is even an overkill, there is passive cooled Geforces starting from 27$

mobo: PCIe 2.0 x16, (the port suports 3.0x16, but my CPU no)
Monitors handle DVI, HDMI and VGA.
I'm currently using DVI for the host GPU and HDMI for the Gaming GPU, but I could switch them.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007709%20600007855%20600374078%20600528885%20600374080%20600286742%20600038363%20600038364%204814&IsNodeId=1

Any from this list will do the job... only one thing, when you go with low-end cards dual-display is shared, so you can plug in either VGA+DVI or VGA+HDMI configuration so one of those monitors will get lower quality signal, so thats about hardware limitation.
Now i won't play a cool guy knowing everything since it past like a decade from my last Linux adventure thus you need to dig out about drivers and dual-display for this specific OS. The list contains both nVidia and AMD/ATI cards so i guess there should be some valid option for you considering drivers.

i used to have a BFG 9400GT which is basically what you're looking for. half height, had DVI and VGA outputs, and i think even SVideo. i tossed it in the trash but sometimes wish i kept it. so for $5 i bought a 9500GT this past summer!

Ok, I went with the GT730 GDDR5.
None of the GT 730 available at amazon are actually single slot, all take some of the space of the adjacent pcie, but not enough to create problems with the air circulation.

Thanks!
