Looking for a specific monitor

Hey guys, I've been kind of searching around for a new monitor for the past 2 years but the prices and technology have been in a weird spot.

I'm looking for a 27 (or less) inch 144hz g-sync 1440p monitor without any weird gaming design.

I don't want to spend a fortune on it, could the prices come down for these category in the next year?

Wow, that's really not a bad price at all. I wonder if it ever gets cheaper on Newegg during a sales event or something.

For awhile this summer it was for sale on Amazon for $469 if I remember correctly. So I wouldn't be surprised at all to see it drop to that again for the occasional sale.
