unsure if thhhis would be the right place to post this.

im looking for a pc parts store or website that delivers to the uk where i am able to pay to reserve an item or pay half now and half the next month. the reason being i am terrible at saving and looking at upgrading my pc. the motherboard i want is the Asus Crosshair extreme X670-e which as you probably know is quite expensive. if anyone knows of such a place it would help a lot. i have tried reddit to be met with some silly comments and the like so i thought i would ask here also.

thank you in advance

@Colif True, but then you'd still have to filter, see if they even deliver to the UK in the first place, and then if they offer paying in installments.

Newegg does deliver to the UK, Scan.co.uk allows to pay in installments, Overclockers.co.uk does the same.

I could never get myself to pay in parts, especially not if they ask 15-20% interest.

This:

"the reason being i am terrible at saving "

Because you can acknowledge that situation it further means you are very capable of solving the problem.

All in all some sort of payment plan or credit card purchase will just make the motherboard all that more expensive. Especially at the above cited interest rates which are likely to be increased if you are the least little bit late with the monthly payment. Could be retroactive even (read the fine print).

Set aside the expected "payment amount" in cash each month and then when the total amount saved is equal to the cost of the motherboard - buy the motherboard and completely pay for it.

Print out a picture of the motherboard. Divide the motherboard picture into equal areas corresponding to the number of payments you are willing to make. As you save and set aside each payment mark off one of the areas.

Put the motherboard picture where you, family, and friends can see it everyday.

Motherboard:

I did that 2 years ago, saved up x amount a fortnight to buy current PC. I didn't want to leave too much on my credit card after I bought it. So purchased item and on same day put most of the money on it to pay bill. Only left a little to pay off after.
Currently waiting for a new GPU, I have most of the money I need already. Card doesn't actually exist in shops yet.
