Looking for a thin and light 13" laptop for study suggestion please

Well i just bought a spectre x360 and its realy hot imo (and the fan loud af...).... my last "laptop" was a surface pro and it wasnt that hot..... any1 have a good suggestion for another laptop i should get when i refund this one?

PS:I was just using word,having a few internet tab and spotify on.... (for the spectre x360 to make the heat goes high lol)

My budget is something near ~1700-1800 CAD and i need a lightweight laptop like max 3~4lbs...

Perhaps the following Asus UX331UA-DS71 ZenBook for $1,069 CAD is a good alternative. It is pretty light at under 2.5lbs. It comes with a quad core i7-8550u CPU, 256GB SSD (m.2 format) and 8GB of RAM. You can upgrade the SSD to something with a larger capacity, just keep in mind that it does not have a 2.5" drive bay to install a hard drive or 2.5" SSD. Also, you cannot upgrade the RAM; the 8GB RAM stick is soldered into the laptop.
